Special Needs

Jose lives in the Japon Community with his
grandmother. Jose has been receiving aid
from Hands in Mission members to care for
his teeth.

Oscar also lives in the Japon Refugee
Community in the community of Choloma.
Recently, a HIM member showed this picture
to a friend who was moved to donate
money to have Oscar’s cross vision repaired.
We are anxiously awaiting the results!!!

9/18/2006 Update:

Oscar had surgery on September 8 and is recovering beautifully!! Praise God.

This is one of several children in the Japon
Community that has cerebral palsy or some
form of retardation. There is an ongoing need
for care for these children. Hands in Mission
hopes to encourage people to donate to these
families that are burdened with the tremendous
needs of these special needs children. If you are moved to help with any of these special needs, please contact us at info@handsinmission.org.

The mother of this family suffers from severe
depression and has been unable to afford to
see a doctor. The young 13 year old
daughter has been taking over many of the
responsibilities of this family.
